happy new year with 2 feet of snow!

we've just had the most snow in recorded history!
most areas in and near santa fe got 2 feet, others got over 30 inches!

there's only 2 snow plows in santa fe county, 6 in the city, but every road construction vehicle, either back hoe, road grater or whatever is now in use to help plow the roads. the best snow removal device we have in new mexico is the sun. we just need some clear skies and the sun will do the rest. however, this time it may take longer than a day or two to clear the roads, maybe a week. there's more snow on the way, but not another 2 feet.
